DESTINATION PROGRAMS:

Writer/Producer- Craig Farlinger inspires his Director- Bob Ennis 

For the last seventeen years Bob Ennis and Craig Farlinger have specialized in the tourism industry. Working with two different distributors has kept them busy. They just finished shooting 'Canadian Rockies- Geography, History & Attractions', their 48th show.  

"Our most memorable shows are 'Destination California' and 'Destination Napa/Sonoma Wine Country'. We shot them both over the same summer in the late nineties. We accumulated some of the world's best cabernet wines while filming in a dozen wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties. We had a fabulous, spacious 3 bedroom Victorian suite overlooking the downtown skyline in San Francisco. Further south, down California's amazing coastline, we stayed at the fabulous Carmel Valley Ranch Resort which has great golf courses."

"It's our love of travel and meeting people that inspires and motivates us. But that's not the reason we excel at this kind of work. The answer is just one word, 'people'. We don't shoot things. We choreograph shots with people being who they are, enjoying the destination and interacting with the tourism operators. We show the experience, not just the sites. All the top Directors in Hollywood are good at working with people. That's the key skill. Many destinations have a long, interesting history attached to them which can still be seen in heritage sites. The key to presenting their story in an interesting way is integrating people. This is something we excel at."

MediaMind has produced tourism promotional programs on areas throughout Canada and the Western United States and also for some of Canada's top tourist attractions including: Royal Ontario Museum, Stanley Park Aquarium and Chatter Creek Mountain Resorts.
